DIY postcards - Happy Thanksgiving
After highlighting fabric postcards in a recent post, I was ready to make postcards of my own. My favorite craft materials are paper, scissors, and glue. So I decided to try my hand with a scrapbook-type approach for homemade postcards. I had to use a little tech savvy to print a postcard template on the back of a card. I inserted a free google image of a postcard template on a google slide and adjusted the size. Then, it was easy to send it to the printer with 4x6 cardstock. Now, I can print blank, ready-to-decorate postcards whenever I want. The fun part was designing the front of the card. I used scraps of paper from previous projects along with clipart prints. A little cutting, gluing, and outlining was all it took to create a pretty postcard. I made a few more and I can't wait to mail them to friends and family!
