F Jay Haynes was the first Official Photographer of Yellowstone National Park in the late 1880’s through the early 1900’s. Haynes published postcards in the early 1900’s using his original photos. In 1916, his son, J E Haynes, took over the business from his father. The Haynes postcards were the first to bring the beauty of this national park to the American public.
