Postcards that hit home - treasures right under my nose
I have postcards from interesting places all over the US and the world. It's pretty easy to remember to pick up postcards while traveling. But I recently discovered some of my favorite postcards right under my nose. A new historical museum opened recently in our town. On my first visit to the museum, I checked out the items in the souvenir/gift area. Sure enough, they had postcards. The three I selected depict areas of our town as it looked decades ago. It would have been a terrible oversight to have a collection of postcards and not include the town I have lived in for 35 years!
